      Good question Mariangel, the answer is Yes!

      New viruses can be made in the lab, these are called genetically modified viruses and many have been developed as anti-cancer agents. It is thought that these anti-cancer viruses which are called oncolytic viruses (meaning cancer destroying) will be a new class of cancer therapy.
