      Hi Robin and Ellen,

I love to find out new things and I think that’s the reason I really enjoy research because you are always learning and finding out something new for the first time.

I was really lucky as a student during my time at university to do a project in a cancer lab. I found the work really interesting. When I finished my degree, I was offered a chance to do research in that lab and I jumped at the chance. So many people are affected by cancer and it is amazing to be able to work on a tiny piece of the jigsaw that is cancer research, in the hope that some day, that jigsaw will reveal the cure for cancer.
