I started working as a researcher in science when I finished college, I was 22 and I have been working as a researcher ever since, although nowadays I spend the majority of my time teaching (passing on my research experience to others).
I wanted to be a lecturer ever since I was in university (inspired by my own lecturers) and after many years of research, doing my PhD and getting some teaching experience, I now have the job I always wanted. It is a great privilege to teach the scientists of tomorrow and I really love my job.
Would you be interested in a career in science?
