      Hi,

      I love so called ‘basic science’. This is science where we try to find out new things rather then ‘applied science’ where you take the results of ‘basic science’ and use them to create a medicine or drug, or to optimize a industrial process.

      In the ‘basic sciences’ I like marine biology and especially the biology of single celled planktonic organisms the best.
