• Question: Do you know the population of children in the world?

      Hi,

      currently there are 1,9 billion children in the world, which is about 27 percent of the world’s population. 1.9 billion children also equals about 4750 times the whole population of Ireland :-). That’s quite a lot, isn’t it?

      I didn’t know the answer to this (thanks Sebastian) but I was thinking that children would probably make up about 20% of the total world population which stands at over 7 billion today.
