      I would change the way research is funded and reviewed. It takes sooooo much time these days to write applications for funding and most brilliant researchers lack the time to do what they actually wanted to do: research! This is what I would change!

      I would love to have more time to do my research, in my job I spend most of my time teaching my students (which I do love, don’t get me wrong) but I don’t get to spend as much time as I would like doing research…by research I mean doing experiments in the lab on cancer cells, trying to find out what makes them tick and trying to find ways to destroy them.

      I do like it but I might give myself a few more days holidays!
